Meg Meets Boredom

I really want my “life” blogs to be fun because I feel like I am a semi-fun person, but when I was trying to come up with ideas… I realized I’m really boring. Working has made me boring.

I have fallen into a sad routine. I wake up every morning at 6 am, I’m out the door by 7, at work before 8, work until 5 pm, home around 6 pm, dinner around 7, TV until 9, bed at 10 pm, repeat. It’s boring. I have become a dull 20-something. I’m the person I hate. But how do I find the time to be exciting?

Spending roughly an hour and a half in the car everyday commuting to and from work is getting old and it’s making me boring. Don’t get me wrong, I love that I am saving money by living with my parents this first year, I just wish I didn’t have to make my car my second home to do so.

So the first step to realizing that you’ve become a dull, 20-something homebody is admitting you have a problem. So here I am, shouting it from the rooftops.

Now help me think of some new fun ways to get out of my boring rut. 🙂

  1. I’m sure there are various “Young Professional” socities/meetups/organized events within a 30 minute radius of you, have you looked at any of them before?

  2. You are sooo fun! The snow day we had this week where there was only me and Eric was sooo very boring without you!
